What good is having lots of great content if no one can find it? Make sure that your content is promoted in such a way as to not appear as spamming. Provide your followers on Twitter, for example, with interesting tweets and engage your followers.

4. Ignore your competition

This statement may seem like a really bold thing to say in business and even perhaps downright cocky, but really, it is great advice. I am not saying to completely ignore your competition as it is good to know what strategies successful completion is engaging in, but to become too consumed with your competition will lead you to spend energies that would otherwise be spent on building your own powerful strategies. SEO is nothing more than grunt work and more grunt work but very worth it in the end. Keep at it.

5. Consider becoming active on the Internet’s social media sites and invite others to join you. This is an excellent way of promoting your brand and your content and will appear as natural activity to the search engines while increasing both traffic to your website and this should also help with your SEO efforts.
